How to use!

To add a new ski day:

  1. Go to the correct database: I split mine up by season, so this year I’ll add to 2025-26 Season
  2. click New Page
    1. add a Ski name (I usually name mine after my Strava titles)
    2. select the Type - you must add a Type for it to show up in Skis per Year
    3. add the date
  3. The page with auto-populate into the Skis per Year database
    1. This acts as the dashboard to show you your ski days per year over however many years you have entered

Add a new ski type:

  1. Go toSkis per Year database
  2. New page:
    1. name it (ex. Telemark)
    2. add emoji - optional
  3. It will auto-populate under the ski type column on all connected databases </aside>

Notes on the Template

To add a new ski season database

  1. Click the group of 6 dots on the left of the most recent database, select Duplicate > Duplicate without Content
  2. Wait for the database to load - this could take a minute!
  3. Rename the database
    1. ex. change to 2026-27 Season
  4. On the Ski Type column: click Edit Property > Turn Two-way relation on
    1. rename the relation, I do 2026-27ski
  5. On Skis per Year database
    1. Settings > Edit Properties > Add New Property > Rollup
    2. Relation: select the relation you just renamed in step 4 (ex. 2026-27ski)
    3. Target Property: Ski
    4. Calculate > Count > Count all
    5. Rename Rollup property (I do 2026-27) </aside>
